Remove the Malicious Extension from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. goto “Geargear_icon_internet explorer icon in top right corner
  3. Select Manage Addons
  4. Goto tab Toolbars and Extensions
  5. Select TubeSaver
    when you can’t find the Browser Helper Object. Goto the next step.
  6. Click Disable button

Optional: To clean Internet Explorer from any Browser Helper Object it is possible to restore Internet Explorer to default settings. If you would like to restore Internet Explorer to default settings it is advised to backup any files, folders and bookmarks or create a Windows Backup.

Google ChromeGoogle Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. type in the address bar: http://chrome:extensions or (Goto the 3 stripes in the top right corner, select Settings and on the left side: Extensions)
  3. Remove TubeSaver extension by clicking the trash can trash_can_icon_google_chrome icon, right next to the browser extension.
    If the extension is Installed by enterprise policy, follow this guide.
  4. Restart Google Chrome

Optional: To clean Google Chrome from any HighliteApp it is possible to restore Google Chrome to default settings. If you would like to restore Google Chrome to default settings it is advised to backup any files, folders and bookmarks or create a Windows Backup.

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox
  2. Goto the Big Orange Firefox button in top left corner, Select Add-ons
  3. Remove TubeSaver extension by clicking the Remove button
  4. Restart Mozilla Firefox

Optional: To clean Mozilla Firefox from any HighliteApp it is possible to restore Mozilla Firefox to default settings. If you would like to restore Mozilla Firefox to default settings it is advised to backup any files, folders and bookmarks or create a Windows Backup.
