Recently, security researchers have again discovered Adware in the Google Play Store, which has been downloaded millions of times. A total of 9 million downloads came from 111 Android applications only in the Google Play Store.
The Adware that could be downloaded from the Google Play Store caused unwanted advertisements and was aware of security researchers like me.
Adware in the Google Play Store had taken measures to prevent detection, so the Adware was able to show ads only 24 hours after installation, and the application icon was hidden.

Security company Trend Micro reports that Google has removed the adware applications from the Google Play Store. Trend Micro detects the Android adware as AndroidOS_HiddenAd.HRXAA and AndroidOS_HiddenAd.GCLA.
The adware applications were disguised as Camera and Games applications.
The next time you download Camera or Games from the Google Play Store, make sure you are protected against Adware on Android. It is not the first time that Adware is found in the Google Play Store and probably not the last time.
