Delete or Remove saved Passwords from Google Chrome

If you are using the internet web browser Chrome on a computer shared together with other people, it is better not to have the Chrome web browser store the passwords of web services such as e-mail, Facebook or forums. This is because other users of the computer can easily retrieve that password in Chrome.

Therefore it is better not to have the passwords saved and to delete already saved passwords in Chrome. If you are the only one using the Chrome web browser it is recommended to save passwords in Chrome, this can save much time logging in on web pages and it is a lot safer than passwords in plain-text files on the PC. I do, however, advise the use of an external password manager to save the passwords.

Disable save passwords for Chrome

Open the Chrome web browser, click the three dots in the upper right corner to open the Chrome menu. In the Chrome menu, click Settings and scroll down to Advanced.  Open the Advanced menu and scroll down to Passwords and Forms. Click Manage Passwords to adjust the Chrome settings to disable save passwords.

If you would like to disable Offer to save passwords, click the slider to disable the option. Chrome will no longer automatically store your passwords. You can now delete the already saved passwords. This is how you do it.
