Google patches serious security flaw in Google Chrome 77

Google released a new version of the Google Chrome web browser. The latest version of Google Chrome version 77.0.3865.75.

The security leak was present in a part of Google Chrome that is used to play audio and video files in the web browser.

Google Chrome 77.0.3865.75 also contains 51 other bug fixes, for example, the Google Chrome 77 update offers protection against spoofing of the address bar, the possibility to start other browsers and to bypass the built-in download protection in Google Chrome.
