Google has released an update for Chrome that fixes multiple browser vulnerabilities. It is the first Chrome update after the tech company announced a pause of new versions due to the corona outbreak, this is due to modified work schedules from the Chrome developers.
Chrome 80.0.3987.162 for Linux, Mac, and Windows fixes eight vulnerabilities, three of which were reported to Google by external researchers. These are security vulnerabilities in the components of Chrome that are responsible for processing media and web audio.
The seriousness of these leaks has been labeled “high” by Google.

In this case, these are security leaks that would have allowed an attacker to execute code within the context of the browser. It is then possible, for example, to read or modify data from other websites. Vulnerabilities to escape from the Chrome sandbox are also included. More information about Google Chrome 80.0.3987.162.
