Google Chrome users on an Android device are able to switch on the dark mode. More and more applications get a dark mode, the dark mode is better for the eyes in dark environments, but also better for the battery if the device has an OLED screen.
Dark mode in Google Chrome for Android is not immediately available after updating the web browser. You first need to activate the dark mode option via the Google Chrome advanced flags settings.

Enable Google Chrome dark mode
If you have version 74 of Google Chrome or higher installed, type the following in the address bar: chrome://flags/#enable-android-night-mode.
In the menu item for Android Chrome UI Dark mode, set the option to On. Now restart the web browser.
Open the Google Chrome menu, tap Settings.
In Dark mode, set the switch to On. You have now successfully activated Dark mode in the Google Chrome web browser.
