I’m going to show you how to fix no sound problems in your Google Chrome web browser. This could definitely be a frustrating issue and in this tutorial, I am going to show you how to hopefully resolve it without too much of a hassle.
So we’re going to just jump into it this Google Chrome no sound issue and we’re going to start by opening up the Google Chrome web browser (if it’s not already open) and then we’re going to proceed to navigate over to the three dotted icons near the top right corner of the browser, left click on settings.
Now you want to scroll down on this page and to get to the advanced section. You want to scroll down a bit to get to content settings control – what information websites can use in what content they can show you – so let’s click on that.
Now you want to go ahead and select: Sound from the settings menu.
So in order to enable sound just toggle to the on position to allow sites to play sound (recommended).
Next, find out if there are any website blocked from playing sound in the Mute section. When there are websites muted, click the three dots on the right of the site and click Remove.
Once you’ve done that you can just close the window and you should be good to go.
I hope this article has helped you to get the sound back in Google Chrome!
