Fortpush.com is a “allow notifications” popup scam, also known as a “social engineering” pop-up shown in the web browser. Fortpush.com redirect is generated by an adware application. Once adware is installed on the computer, the browser is redirected by a variety and usually random pop-up advertisements in the web browser. Fortpush.com tries to scam the user into accepting push notifications in the web browser.
Adware applications redirect the web browser through various domains, as you can see in the image screenshot I took from my infected computer. Fortpush.com is identical to easypushnotification.com pop-up.

Adware is responsible for the display of disturbing and recurring ads from Fortpush.com. The advertisements may consist of pop-ups, commercials in the content of the web page or random redirects in the web browser. Usually, the web browser is redirected by a random number of pop-ups in the web browser before landing on the eventual advertisement web page.
In this way, adware abuses advertising networks to determine which advertisement is most appropriate to the user. Adware publishers benefit from the most relevant ads in order to generate sales, leads, and money by overwhelming the user with PPC (pay per click). Generally, the more relevant the advertisement, the more the user would click on the ads.
The problem lies in the experience that adware unwittingly gathers all kinds of information from the web browser and the computer. The gathered information consists of, your online activity, your web browser history, your online searches, online interests, and your online purchases. This information is not something you unwittingly want to share with usually suspicious advertising networks, especially if the advertising network is associated with adware and potentially unwanted programs (PUPs).
It is important to identify the adware application on your PC that displays the Fortpush.com pop-up in your Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Edge web browser. After the adware application is removed from your computer, the pop-up to Fortpush.com will also no longer appear.
